When Glory Writers sent an email asking who wanted to join the media team for this book, I was IMMEDIATELY interested because the title, y’all, is gold. And then I read the synopsis and I was sold. But I have a confession so make… I’m one of those readers where if I’m not hooked within the first page, I’m gonna put the book down until I have absolutely nothing else to read.
I had committed to read this book, though, and so I stuck with it. Boy am I glad I did. Yes, I found the start a tad bit slow (I’m not sure why though because it’s not a SLOW start per-say) but once I got into the book… 100% amazing.
This book will have you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what comes next but never being able to guess.
And I know they say you can’t judge a book by it’s title, (yes, I know they say cover but I’m also told you can’t read something just because the title is awesome) but you can definitely judge this one by it’s title. It just fits so well! And sounds so cool!
So would I recommend this to all my fantasy loving friends? ABSOLUTELY! In fact, I think y’all should go get a copy right now because this is a book you need on your shelf.
After that semi long, incomprehensible review, what are you actually supposed to take from it? Very simple. What you should have gleaned is that The Wolf Queen is an extremely amazing book and if you love fantasy, you should read it. (Especially if you’re one of my wolf loving friends;)
